About the Event
This four-week course introduces participants to attachment theory and provides practical tools for building healthier, more secure relationships. It begins with an overview of attachment concepts, guiding participants to identify their most important relationships, reflect on their personal values, and complete an attachment style assessment. This foundation sets the stage for understanding how early experiences and patterns influence present-day connections. I
n the second week, the focus turns to the anxious attachment style. Participants learn its key traits, explore how it shows up in relationships, and practice strategies to recognize burnout, regulate anxiety, and strengthen safety and security. Exercises emphasize healthy communication and appreciation as pathways to reduce stress and reinforce connection.
The third week explores the avoidant attachment style. Through reflection and guided practice, participants examine triggers for withdrawal, assess the impact of avoidant coping strategies, and learn more constructive ways to engage with partners. This section also emphasizes…
